INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
4 very ripe bananas, mashed
2 cups all-purpose flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
DIRECTIONS
1. Warm oven to 350 °F, and grease 5 x 9 inch pan.
2. Whip butter and sugar in a bowl until fluffy.
3. One at a time, add eggs, and mix after each one.
4. Add vanilla and banana to bowl, and mix.
5. Place flour, powder and salt in another bowl.
6. Mix the dry ingredients thoroughly.
7. Combine banana mixture and flour mixture.
8. Add walnuts, place batter into prepared pan.
9. Bake in preheated oven for 60 minutes.
10. Cool briefly in pan, then transfer to wire rack.
